About Kara Resop

Born and raised in Naples, Kara had the fortunate opportunity to grow up on a horse ranch with acreage, providing plenty of open spaces and a lifestyle seldom found in the area. Inspired by her parent’s work ethic and sacrifice, who eventually achieved financial freedom through real estate investments despite working their average jobs, Kara obtained her real estate license while pursuing her college degree. She then joined Coldwell Banker, where she excelled and became highly skilled in bringing deals together.

 

After marrying her husband Chris, Kara devoted herself to supporting his Major League Baseball career, spending the next decade traveling the country with their two small children, and even living in Japan for two years while Chris played for the Hanshin Tigers. Kara continued to negotiate personal real estate sales during this time and helped fellow MLB families buy their forever homes. After the journey came to a close, it seemed natural to plant their roots in the only place they had ever called home: Naples.

 

Kara brings a wealth of insight and an extraordinary work ethic to her role. In 2015, she and Chris founded The Resop Team, leveraging Kara’s passion and background in real estate. The Resop Team has completed over 200 real estate transactions and surpassed $1.2 Billion in sales. Kara takes tremendous pride in bringing her client's real estate dreams to life and curating a process that feels seamless and easy.
